DISTINCTIVES and OFFICERS
 
PURPOSE AND DISTINCTIVES

PURPOSE
 
1)      Develop and implement community-based programs designed to enhance the spiritual, physical, social and economic well-being of citizens throughout North Carolina and the nation.

 2)      Do any and all lawful activities which may be necessary, useful or desirable for the furtherance, accomplishment, fostering, or attaining of the foregoing purpose, either directly or indirectly, and either alone or in conjunction or cooperation with others whether such others be persons, organizations of any kind or nature, such as corporations, firms, trusts, institutions, foundations, governmental bureaus, departments of agencies. 

   FELLOWSHIP DISTINCTIVES 
  1. Address high priority church and community needs, such as affordable housing, home ownership, home foreclosures, affordable health care, educational disparities in minority communities, domestic violence, HIV and Aids, local church and community economic development initiatives, etc. 
  2. Promote traditional Biblical family values. 
  3. Interdenominational & Non-denominational. 
  4. A Virtual (on line) Headquarters Freeing More Dollars for Community Projects. 
  5. Sixteen-Member Regional and Rotational Leadership Cabinet* (Board of Directors): Provide for leadership inclusion, where each region of the state is represented, and where leadership positions are rotated equally and secessionally every four years among Cabinet members and regions based on service and tenure, and not on “politics”. 
  6. Establish a Community Foundation Endowment to support qualified and selected Fellowship-affiliated church and community initiatives.  
  7. Complement and/or supplement what other like-minded organizations/fellowships are doing across the state and nation.

* Membership on the Cabinet requires:  (1) written letter of commitment, and (2) minimum financial commitment of at least $250.00 annually.
