Unity Fellowship of Churches, Inc. (“UFC”)

MEMBERSHIP COVENANT

Unity Fellowship of Churches desires to offer financial and other assistance to pastors, churches and communities. However, it is understood that UFC cannot offer such assistance without financial resources.  This means that there has to be giving before others can receive.  The mandate comes from the mouth of our Master:

Ø      “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom.” Luke 6:38 (NKJV)

Ø      I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' " Acts 20:35 (NKJV)

As such, potential members are asked to covenant with UFC to do the following:

1. Visit the Fellowship’s website at www.unityufc.org, read the information and become familiar with Unity Fellowship of Churches’ mission, vision, goals, services, strengths and needs.

2. Pray for the mission, vision, officers and members of UFC.

3. Pray for resources to meet the NEEDS of deeply hurting people we seek to serve.

4. Join UFC by paying an initial annual personal membership fee of your choosing.

5. Put UFC in your annual church or organization budget and make an annual contribution in whatever amount your church or organization determines.  Or, in the alternative, your church may choose to take up a love offering once or twice a year and forward to UFC.

6. Get/Access a computer with an internet connection and e-mail address.

7. Recruit others to join the Fellowship, and, as resources permit, attend, and invite others to attend, UFC’s Annual and/or Semi-Annual Meeting(s).

8. Share your ideas and ministry with others in the Fellowship!

9. Encourage literacy, education and financial responsibility.

10. Call (at least) one member of the Fellowship regularly.
